Introducing the Getting Better Podcast
I’m excited to kick-off the first episode of the 🎙️Getting Better Podcast, where I’m interviewing interesting people with interesting stories and one idea in mind: sparking curiosity and inspiring to get better.
In this episode I’m interviewing Francesco Latino about his trip to Uganda, where he spent 35 days volunteering within the local community of Batwa, which have been almost entirely dispossessed of their land by the pressures of government.
This was an extraordinary chat in which we talked about (i) the things Francesco had to “unlearn”, (ii) the beliefs that fell apart once in Uganda, (iii) how the Batwa community is adjusting to a new reality, (iv) their concept of home, and other things.
Francesco recently launched his newsletter Project Home, where he documents through words and pictures the concept of home for people around the world (He also wrote about the Batwa community here).
As you can tell by these pictures, he’s a talented photographer too.
You can find Francesco on Twitter/X and his website.
